Here We Go...Again!

Yes! I am getting back on the saddle and giving this blogging thing a try....AGAIN!
I believe in my heart I have lots to share with people willing to hang in there with me.  Of course I do, I am a mommy to 3 cubs (sons), a daughter, a sister, a wife, and a friend.  So yes! I have lots to share.  Just be patient and cheer me on!

What's Your Outlet? How Do You Unwind? How Do You Re-boost?

1. My first option is playing with paper! I love papercrafting.  It has been a wonderful outlet for me.  I make cards and scrapbook pages for memory albums! Please don't tell me you have your treasured photos in those sticky icky albums from years of yesterday!!!! Stampin Up! is a great papercrafting supply company.  Visit my website at http://www.creativezavi.stampinup.net/

2. The next option is listening to my cubs' daily stories of yucky lunches, mean teachers (lol), and playground fun! My eldest cub--we will call him cub#1--also has some very interersting stories about life at Georgia Southern University! Their stories are filled with insight and humor that takes me away from my ever growing pile of laundry!

3. And finally, if its just one of those darn days....and no matter how funny cub #2 story is about the substitute teacher from another planet is....I may have no other choice but to unwind with a glass of Sangria filled with fresh fruit!

No matter how you choose to unwind....Just Do It! In order to take care of our families we must always remember to take care of ourselves!

Heavy Duty Blender

Now the family that I have helped to build looks quite different from the normal 2 parents, 2 kiddos, and a dog. It's quite complicated as I am a second wife, I have 3 sons, my oldest has migrated to live with his dad this last year of HS, I also am the Step Mom to 3 more kids, from the hubster and his first wife, so talk about complications...wow! But for the most part I think it works out.... it takes lots of planning, which the hubster doesn't like doing...it takes patience...which is getting thinner as I get older...and it takes prayer and meditation!

I am learning that different is ok as long as you are ok with it.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d6LU_WZi2zc

Blending this family is a daily challenge....but it is one that I am committed to making work....work for me! Now I don't know if I ever want to get to the point that we are like Will and Jada....and their blended family...but working together to make sure everyone is loved is good. If you are a SM...there are lots of support out there for super moms like us. One of my favorites was SMOMS.org. It was set up like a forum and you could post your situation and the other Super Moms would provide support for your situation.
Wishing you all the happiness you can endure!

Let's Get It!

Well I come back to my blog renewed and refreshed! I am committed to keeping it updated and will try to increase my visitors by telling everyone I know ...ok so thats about 5 peeps, but hey its a start!
The last half of this year I have dedicated to " Gettin It"!
I was blessed enough to see another birthday...yes Gemini--in the house! And earlier this year I made my 3 year plan! I had to revisit that and give myself a Progress Report---not doing good--but not quite doing bad--so that equals a D+.
I am definitely trying to increase my streams of revenue...thats a must with a SENIOR in the house! Its so hard to believe that my little nino has grown up to this 6ft 3 inch young man...
Back to the plan....so I am dedicating this blog to me---its going to represent all things that I love and have an interest in...things on my mind...and my mind is always busy! So stay tuned and you never know what you may find! mmmmwwwaaaah! Peace love and a tablespoon of happiness!

Goodies Galore!

Today was a great day for spending those gift cards from Friday! My favorite LSS store had a great sale! I had a great time at Scrap Chic Boutique in downtown Decatur. I got lots of stamps, papers for Valentine's Day, and lots of bling! The boys enjoyed their big brother, rode their scooters, and enjoyed the sunshine. I am going to attempt to get ready for several swaps I am in....I want to be ahead of the game so I have to start now!
One of my goals for the new year is to learn how to decorate. I want to explore what my style is and began to reflect that in the items that I buy. I am going to play around on HGTV's Rate My Space tonight. The plan is to start small, first I will try to tackle my master bathroom, and move on from there. Wish Me Luck!
Today I will leave you with a picture showing all my loot I scored for............the first guess within $.25 cents--without going over-- wins a prize from my prize patrol closet!!!

My FIRST Official Blog Posting.....

Merry Christmas Everyone!
My house is very quiet! I am tiptoeing around trying to make swedish meatballs and artichoke dip for our family brunch this morning. I am so surprised the kiddoes are still asleep!
The tree is filled with presents galore. Good Eats and lots of family equals good times to be had!
Paper Crafting news: I have my first order ready for Ellen Hudson...I am ordering Lockhart stamps this year! I am so in love with them....Even though I dont use copics I think they are perfect for card making!
I have my winter inspiration box completely filled...I am limiting myself to the things in this 12x12 box.
I am hoping that this blog will help me create more goodies!
Ok....That's all for now....
